Ken Blanchard has written or co-written more than 60 books - including “The One Minute Manager” with Spencer Johnson - that have sold millions of copies around the world. In 1979, Ken co-founded The Ken Blanchard Companies - a training and management consulting firm - where he serves as the company’s Chief Spiritual Officer. Randy Conley is the Vice President of Client Services and Trust Practice Leader at The Ken Blanchard Companies. Randy is a founding member of the Alliance of Trustworthy Business Experts and is a nationally recognized thought leader in trustworthy business behavior.

In this episode, Randy and Ken explain what servant leadership is, the benefits of servant leadership, how effective leaders help employees set and achieve goals, and the foundational importance of creating trust within an organization. They also discuss the importance of recognition, how vulnerable leaders are able to more quickly and effectively build trust, and how exceptional organizations have clear missions, visions, and values that are known by all employees.
